You will then be sent a National 5 Frame Nuc of Bees with a Locally Bred Queen in late April or May, once the bees are ready. This allows you ample time to assemble and set up your hive, as well as to gather as much knowledge as possible! 

Our 5-frame Nucs, built on British Standard frames, are the perfect foundation for your National hive. Each Nuc is teeming with life, housing approximately 12,000 hardworking bees and a healthy, marked, locally bred Queen.
