Carniolan queen bees are renowned for their calm and gentle nature, making hive management easier and more enjoyable. They are highly adaptable to varying climates, build up rapidly in spring, and are excellent foragers with strong resistance to disease. Carniolans also maintain efficient use of winter stores, making them a reliable choice for sustainable beekeeping. To confirm your order, a £5 deposit is required, with the remaining balance taken automatically on the 1st day of your chosen delivery month.

You will receive one Queen in a travel cage (with fondant in the cage) and a small number of attendants. Please remember to remove the tabs at the base of the cage when introducing your Queen. Have a look on how to introduce your Queen here.

Just pay a £5.00 (non-refundable) deposit now and the remainder payment will be automatically be taken on July 1st 2027 from your original payment method.

Collection - You can choose to collect your Queens from us here in Kent. Select this option at the checkout and we will send you a time to collect your Queens nearer the time. 

Shipping - Royal Mail Tracked 24 Delivery: £8.50

All queens are dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked 24 and can be sent throughout mainland UK, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Tracked 24 usually arrives the next working day; however, deliveries to Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands may take two working days. Delivery times are Royal Mail estimates and are not guaranteed.

Please check that your delivery address is correct and ensure someone is available to receive the parcel. We cannot accept responsibility for failed deliveries caused by an incorrect address, nobody being available to receive the parcel, or delays within the Royal Mail network.

As always, as these are live bees, orders for Queens are non-refundable.

Dead on arrival - we will replace any Queens that are received dead on arrival only if they are still in their sealed cage and reported within 8 hours of delivery to you. You must provide a video of the deceased queen with a piece of paper showing your order number and name.
