Care and cleaning:

To maintain hygiene and extend the life of the nest box, it should be checked and cleaned once the breeding season has finished. Old nesting material can be carefully removed using warm water and a stiff brush if required. Do not use chemicals or disinfectants as these may be harmful to birds. The nest box should never be cleaned or disturbed while birds are nesting.
