This assembled Varroa floor is made from cedar with a mesh screen and sloping landing board. Examine this floor carefully and you will see it is not just pieces of wood nailed or screwed together, it is much more than that. This product has been the floor style of choice since varroa arrived, it is an aid used in the monitoring of varroa levels. This is largely the dead varroa population that fall from the bees. Comes assembled and ready to be added to your hive. Suitable for National, Commercial and 14x12 Hives.
Tip: Using a black permanent marker pen draw lines on the floor approximately 50mm apart, this will help in the counting of mites.
