Stacking Solitary Bee Hive

This Solitary Bee Hive is an excellent way to attract and support solitary bees in your garden, helping to improve the pollination of flowers, fruit, and vegetables. Crafted from FSC-certified timber, it features stacking trays that can be opened for inspection and easy cleaning.

Designed to appeal to a range of UK solitary bee species, the hive may be used by Red Mason Bees (Osmia bicornis), Leafcutter Bees (Megachile species), and other cavity-nesting solitary bees commonly found in British gardens.

Both fascinating and educational, the hive allows the trays to be carefully separated to observe the formation of individual cells where eggs are laid, as well as signs of any natural predators. For best results, position the hive in a sunny location facing south to south-east to catch the morning sun.
