Wasp Trap

In late summer and autumn, wasps can pose a significant threat to honey bee colonies. To protect the bees, limit hive entrances and place honey traps containing a solution of jam and water or vinegar, salt and sugar. This will attract the wasps away from the hives, trapping and drowning them.
